Description

Denim Newsboy Cap

Denim that works as hard as the man wearing it. The suede brim sets it apart — two materials that have no business looking this good together, yet somehow they do.

Sizing — Fits most head sizes from 21.5" to 23.5". Structured shape sits naturally and stays secure.

Material — 100% cotton denim. Worn-in feel from the start, breathable and built to last.

Fit — Full newsboy cap profile that sits naturally on the head. Clean panel construction with a fabric button at the crown.

Construction — Reinforced panel seams throughout. Built to hold its shape over years of regular wear.

Brim — Suede-finish flat brim. The contrast detail that makes this cap worth a second look.

Nothing makes me prouder than seeing my caps out in the world.

About Walter

I started this shop back in 1973 with a workbench, a handful of tools, and everything my father taught me about making caps. For 53 years, I've been cutting, stitching, and shaping each one by hand, the way I always have — steady, honest, built to last.

The business didn't survive. At 72, I'm closing Walter's Caps for good. Add two caps to your cart and the second one is free — my way of making sure these caps find a good home before the doors close.

These are the last caps I'll ever make. Once they're gone, they're gone.

— Walter

Lifetime Craftmanship Promise

When I make a cap, I make it to last. Each one is cut and stitched with steady hands and the same care my father taught me. That's why I stand by every piece with my Lifetime Craftsmanship Promise. If your cap ever needs repair because of the way it was made, I'll make it right. A cap from my workshop is meant to stay with you for years — just as it should be.

Finally a cap that fits properly. Well-made, comfortable, and looks sharp. Reminds me of the quality you used to get years ago.

I've been wearing caps for over 40 years. This is one of the best I've owned. Simple, classic, and made to last.

My wife found this shop for me. She knows I'm picky about my caps. This one's a keeper.

James

Exactly what I was looking for. Solid quality, no frills. Got a second one free — that's hard to argue with.

Richard

My old cap finally wore out after 15 years. This one feels like it'll last just as long. Very pleased.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay safely and easily. I accept Amex, Apple pay, Google pay, Maestro, MasterCard, Shop pay and Visa.

How are your caps made?

Each cap is carefully handcrafted in my workshop. I cut the cloth, stitch every seam, and shape each piece by hand. I’ve been making caps this way since 1973, with the same steady care and attention to detail.

How should I care for my cap?

A well-made cap doesn’t need much to last. Keep it in a cool, dry place when you’re not wearing it, and give it a gentle brush now and then to keep the fabric fresh. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally. Simple care will keep your cap in good shape for years.

And if you’re ever unsure, you can always ask me directly.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, I offer free shipping on all orders. Once your cap has been shipped, I’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey to you.
